Ich spreche little Deutsch! Mittle Seilwinden Question
Hallo from Kanada! Nicht Schnee! Does anyone have drawings/suggestions for mounting a winch in the middle of U1700 agrar. (under kipper). . The plan so far is to attach forward mount to X middle equipment mounts-at rear of transmissions... (these have four bolts to attach to frame on each side plus a large machined hole in the middle where I will attach the forward side of the winch mounting plate. The rear of the winch plate I would like to attach to some sort of contrivance or extension of the dump box X-frame forward pins which are on both sides. Either I would connect the two sides with a solid shaft from side to side and attach to that with rubber mounted/ and or loose bushings (to account for articulation) or I would use longer pins and attach to each side separately. I am going to raise the dump box by lifting each dump box cup with an extension as some of you may have seen in other mid mount winch applications. My thinking (after using winch on front of mogs for many years) is that the winch should always be on the mog-but a winch mounted on either end is in the way of implements-this way it is always there when you need it. I want to keep it simple-so the winch will be slightly offset and the cable will pass on one side of the dump cylinder across the top of the X frame and out to the rear with some sort of swivelling pulley as it exits the rear of the mog. The winch would sit fairly high so that it will spool above the X frame. Anybody experienced with this application Danke AKA Rostige Kamer AKA Rusty Chambers
